Mr. Richard Matheson has worked in the nickel and stainless steel industries since 1987, where he began his career with Queensland Nickel. In 1992, he undertook the principal research in the establishment of the Australian Stainless Steel Development Association (ASSDA) and remained there until 2017, mostly in the role of Executive Director. Richard has operated his own consulting business since 2007 and in various roles, has advised and represented nickel companies in market and regulatory assignments, including market research and impact of government regulation. He has overseen the delivery of appropriate outcomes in diverse matters from welding fume standards to collaborative workshops in the APEC environment.

Richard has represented the Nickel Institute since 2007 and currently holds the position of General Manager - Asia, Market Development and has been appointed as the Director, Market Development, effective 1 January 2018. He brings extensive knowledge of nickel and its end uses and has been effective in developing markets for nickel containing products in concrete reinforcement, plumbing, civil engineering, the built environment and others.

Richard Matheson先生自1987起从事镍和不锈钢行业的工作，他的第一家雇主是Queensland Nickel 公司。在1992年他主导创立了澳大利亚不锈钢开发协会（ASSDA），他在该协会工作到2017年，长时间担任执行总监。自2007年起，Richard开始经营自己的咨询公司，为镍业公司提供市场和合规方面的咨询，其中包括市场调研，以及政府法规影响研究。在APEC的框架体系内，他参与了焊接烟气标准及研讨会等多种项目，推动达成适当的结果。

Richard Matheson先生自2007年起开始参与国际镍协会的相关工作，目前担任亚洲区总经理，并已经被任命为市场开发总监，该任命自2018年1月1日起生效。Richard拥有镍及应用方面的丰富知识，对含镍产品市场开发做了很多富有成效的工作，如混凝土强化，管道敷设，土木工程，建筑装饰等。

Dr. Veronique Steukers is Director, Health and Environment Public Policy at the Nickel Institute. She has more than 20 years’ professional experience in the areas of regulatory and government affairs as well as advocacy with corporate metal and chemicals companies. Prior to joining the Nickel Institute Dr. Steukers was Advocacy Director at the Corporate Sustainability Department of Albemarle. Dr. Steukers has a deep understanding of international chemicals management gained through her involvement in EU and global chemicals policy processes and negotiations. She has also been extremely active within the different sectors, having performed functions as chair or vice-chair of industry organisations and is currently chair of the EHS Committee of Eurométaux, the European non-ferrous metals association. During her early career, she was responsible for product liability for the Umicore Group.

Veronique Steukers 博士是国际镍协会健康与环境公共政策总监兼欧盟办公室总经理，她在金属制品和化学品公司拥有20年以上的法规事务、政府关系、以及政策倡导经验。在加入国际镍协会之前，Steukers博士曾担任雅保化工(Arbemarle)公司可持续发展部总监。由于积极参与欧盟及国际化学品政策制定和谈判，Steukers博士对国际化学品管理有深刻的见解。她在各个相关行业也非常活跃，在一些行业组织中担任主席和副主席，目前担任欧洲金属协会（欧洲有色金属协会）环境健康安全委员会主席。在职业生涯早期，Steukers博士在优美科(Umicore)集团负责产品责任管理。
